1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Unshared website, API, SDK, dashboard, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Unshared ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, accessing the Service, or integrating our SDK or API, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

2. Description of Service

Unshared provides a B2B software platform that helps businesses detect and address account sharing. Our Service includes:

Account sharing detection and analytics based on user events (e.g., login, signup, device and session data)
SDK and API integration so you can send user events to our systems and receive analysis (e.g., whether a user is flagged)
Email verification flows (e.g., sending verification codes when suspicious activity is detected)
A web dashboard for viewing metrics, managing your company, onboarding, and launch enforcement
Subscription plans, including Growth and Enterprise plans with usage-based billing

We may update or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

3. Your Account and Use

You must provide accurate information when signing up and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with applicable laws. You may create a company workspace, invite team members, and use API keys as described in our documentation. You must not:

Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any law
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
Resell or sublicense the Service except as we expressly allow
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our detection logic or proprietary algorithms
Send us data you do not have the right to provide (e.g., without proper consent where required)

4. Data and Privacy

You may send us end-user data (e.g., identifiers, IP address, device ID, email) as part of using the Service. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and share that data with us. Our use of data is described in our Privacy Policy. We process data to provide and improve the Service, and we do not sell your or your end users' personal data to third parties for advertising.

5. Billing and Payment

Paid plans (e.g., Growth) are billed in accordance with the pricing on our website. Fees may include base subscription fees and usage-based charges (e.g., per additional tracked user). Payment is processed by our payment provider. You agree to pay all applicable fees and taxes. Fees are generally non-refundable unless we state otherwise or the law requires. We may change pricing with advance notice; continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.

6. Intellectual Property

We own the Service, our brand, and our technology (including detection and analytics). We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms and our documentation. You retain ownership of your data; you grant us the rights necessary to operate and improve the Service.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or that detection results are accurate in every case. The Service is a tool to assist you; you remain responsible for your own compliance and business decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unshared and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business opportunity, arising from or related to the Service or these Terms. Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim (or, if you have not paid, one hundred U.S. dollars).

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or for other operational or legal reasons, with notice where reasonable. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g., disclaimers, limitation of liability, dispute resolution) will survive.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated via email or a notice in the Service. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.

11. General

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Unshared regarding the Service. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a right does not waive that right. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
